The house has everything that you'll need in it, really.
Basement consists of extra storage, and a sewing/embroidery for those girls who do extra jobs on the side.
First floor has the front desk, where you sign in every night. 9:30 sharp, just like on Grand. If you're late, you pay an extra penny every hour that you are, and if you aren't in by 11:30, I hear the church has a nice sleeping area. Sometimes Ms. Ricci will let you have a late pass, but it's not very often.
Rent's six cents a night, except for Sunday, when it's seven.
Anyways, continuing on. First floor also has the kitchen and dining area, where we all eat together at 6am and 7:30pm— four cents a meal. The church has meals for three cents, but the food here is much better, trust me.
Second floor has the lockers and the restrooms/shower areas. It's an entire floor, because the lodging house can fit a lot of us girls, you know. It also has a laundry area, but you better get there quick, because a lot of the spots fill up quickly.
Third floor is the bunk room. One huge room, it can fit up to 100 girls, more when the weather's bad. Right now, you can manage to get your own bunk, especially if you become a regular.
Fourth floor is the private rooms and reading area. Don't go into the private rooms if you want to stay in the lodging house, but the reading area is open for everyone. There's books, of course, and there's also places for everyone to just relax after a day of selling.
Fifth floor is the auditorium and classrooms. The church hosts classes as well, but normally they're full of the boys, so Ms. Ricci let us have our own teachers and whatnot.
Sixth floor is the attic— for extra storage and bunks when the weather's nice, and the roof and fire escape.
This lodging house is like its own little community, you know? Well, outside of the larger community, which I'll explain to you next...
